The Bachelor’s degree course Aviation Management is an educational offer for students who wish to combine a business management degree in English with a course that emphasizes the knowledge and understanding of the aviation industry. Students will be given a comprehensive basic education in general business management. The main emphasis of the Bachelor’s degree course is on aviation business management.
Besides in-depth general management lectures, students take advanced business courses explicitly tailored to the aviation industry such as Airline Business Models and Strategies, Network Management and Scheduling, Airport Management, Air Cargo and Logistics Management, Aircraft Operation, Air Transport Policy, and Aviation Analytics. Thanks to strong interactions with top companies in various industry segments, the program constantly adjusts to a rapidly evolving environment. For instance, the relatively new field of travel technology, which will gain importance in the future, is already integrated with the curriculum.
Furthermore, students have a unique opportunity to apply and develop their acquired skills and knowledge in the reality of day-to-day operations of an airline, airport, or other aviation companies. Seminars and an Aviation Management Simulation game round of the comprehensive education that prepares students for the challenges of the aviation industry.
