Each winner has shared their personal story, highlighting their academic achievements, community contributions, and aspirations for the future. Khadiza Akter

Khadiza Akter

I am Khadiza Akter, and I am originally from Chandpur, Bangladesh. In 2020, I moved to Germany to pursue my academic and professional aspirations. I am completing my Master’s in International & Development Economics at HTW Berlin, which has provided me with a strong foundation in economic theory and its practical applications in finance and accounting.

In addition to my studies, I am gaining valuable experience as a Working Student in accounting and finance at Prophet Germany GmbH and Trixiewiz e.V. These roles have allowed me to work with advanced financial tools, manage records, prepare reports, and contribute to organizational compliance. My goal is to establish myself as a professional accountant, leveraging my skills and expertise to contribute meaningfully to the financial sector.

I am married, and my husband works in Frankfurt. Despite our busy schedules, we make time to visit each other and cherish the moments we spend together.

My connection to my homeland and its people remains incredibly strong. I deeply value our traditions and religious occasions, which bring a sense of belonging and joy. Celebrating these with my loved ones always feels like home, no matter where I am.

I enjoy exploring the outdoors, discovering new places, and spending time in nature in my free time. I also value moments of relaxation at home to recharge. As a friendly and approachable person, I take pride in helping others whenever I get the opportunity, believing that small acts of kindness can make a big difference.


Khan Mohammad Shayshab Azad

Khan Mohammad Shayshab Azad

I am a master’s student in Information and Communications Engineering at Berliner Hochschule für Technik. My bachelor’s degree is in computer science and engineering from Green University of Bangladesh. Professionally, I am a working student at Deutsche Börse Group, contributing to cyber risk management and information security.

In addition, I founded an initiative called Decoders Squad, where I mentor students to explore emerging technologies, such as cyber-security, Machine learning, and IoT, and encourage their participation in national and international competitions.

Under my guidance, the group has achieved remarkable success, earning accolades in various innovative challenges. I have been recognized for my technical expertise and innovation, having received honors like the BASIS National ICT Award and contributed to initiatives such as NASA’s Space Apps Challenge.


Md Luthful Bari

Md Luthful Bari

My name is Md Luthful Bari, and I am a chemist. Due to the job market conditions in my home country, I also worked in a software firm as an International Software Sales Manager. As a result, my career path is quite diverse. I hold a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Chemistry from Jahangirnagar University, Bangladesh. Currently, I am pursuing my second Master’s degree in Chemistry at Freie University of Berlin, Germany.

My academic and professional journey has provided me with a deep understanding of both the technical and managerial aspects of the chemical and tech industries. I am particularly interested in the fields of trade, retail, merchandising, purchasing, and, specifically, software and chemical trade. My studies and experiences have equipped me with the knowledge to navigate the complexities of global trade.

In addition, I am an artist. I love playing the violin and am currently practicing to improve. I am also a creative writer and am in the process of writing my biography.

I am a single father to a 17-year-old son.

Receiving a scholarship is a wonderful surprise for me. It is a great source of inspiration and an excellent opportunity to connect with professionals in my field.


Md Delwar Hossain

Md Delwar Hossain

I am Md. Delwar Hossain, a passionate and driven individual currently pursuing a Master’s in Cognitive Systems at the University of Potsdam, Germany, specializing in Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence.

With a strong academic background, including a Master’s in Computer Science from Jahangirnagar University and a Bachelor’s in Computer Science & Engineering from Daffodil International University, I have consistently excelled in both academics and research.

I bring a wealth of experience in academia and IT. Previously, I served as a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science at the World University of Bangladesh, where I taught, mentored students, and evaluated academic performances.

My technical proficiency is further enhanced by my roles as a Teaching Assistant at the Hasso Plattner Institute, where I facilitated mobile security labs, and as an IT professional at institutions like the GFZ Helmholtz Center and HPI.

My diverse project portfolio includes work in sentiment analysis, Android app development, legal named entity recognition, and IT infrastructure management, reflecting my versatile problem-solving abilities.

Looking ahead, I aim to contribute significantly to the fields of AI, cloud computing, and IT infrastructure management. I envision developing scalable, cutting-edge solutions to advance cloud systems and IT operations while fostering learning through teaching and mentoring.

My dedication to lifelong learning underscores my vision to create impactful technological advancements and nurture the next generation of innovators.


Md Zobair Hossain

Md Zobair Hossain

I am a dynamic and skilled professional with a comprehensive background in textile engineering and supply chain management. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering and a Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management from Hungary. Currently, I am pursuing my second Master’s degree in Management of Textile Trade and Technology in Germany.

My academic journey has provided me with a deep understanding of both the technical and managerial aspects of the textile industry. I am passionate about the fields of trade, retail, merchandising, purchasing, and specifically textile trade and supply chain management. My studies and experiences have equipped me with the knowledge to navigate the complexities of global supply chains, optimize processes, and implement innovative solutions within the textile sector.

In addition to my professional interests, I am an avid musician. Playing guitar and singing are my favorite pastimes, allowing me to express my creativity and unwind. This passion for music not only enriches my personal life but also enhances my professional skills by fostering creativity, patience, and teamwork.

I am keen to bring my expertise to a dynamic organization where I can contribute to the success of textile trade and supply chain operations. My goal is to leverage my skills in a challenging role that involves optimizing supply chain processes, enhancing merchandising strategies, and driving innovation.

Molla Tamal Hossain

Molla Tamal Hossain

I am Molla MD Tamal Hossain, currently pursuing a Master’s in Environmental Engineering at TU Darmstadt. I hold a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering and a Master’s in Environmental Science from Bangladesh.

I have over five years of professional experience with LGED Bangladesh, including four years as a Sub-Assistant Engineer and one year as an Assistant Engineer.

I am passionate about traveling, reading, and blogging. In Germany, I actively participate in Bangladeshi student welfare groups, supporting fellow students. As an environmentalist, my ultimate goal is to make this earth a better place to live by promoting sustainability and addressing environmental challenges.


Nandita Chakrobortty

Nandita Chakrobortty

My name is Nandita Chakrobortty, and I am from Gopalganj, Bangladesh. I am currently pursuing my second master’s degree in Data Science at the Technical University of Dortmund, Germany.

I hold a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from North Western University, Khulna, and a master’s degree from Northwestern Polytechnical University in China, where I was honored with the Chinese Government Scholarship. These academic experiences have equipped me with a solid foundation in data science and its practical applications.

Throughout my studies, this journey has allowed me to sharpen my technical skills and work on a range of projects that integrate data analysis, machine learning, bioinformatics and data-driven decision-making. In addition to my academic achievements, I am motivated to be a researcher and contribute in the field of healthcare, agriculture, and public administration.

Besides academics, I enjoy exploring new places and cultures, helping others, connecting with the community and striving to be creative. One of my greatest joys is celebrating various Bengali occasions and religious festivals, as they bring me closer to my roots.

I value the importance of balance in life, and I believe in using my skills not only for personal growth but also to contribute positively to the communities I am part of. Rakibul Islam

Rakibul Islam

I am Rakibul Islam, born in Noakhali, Bangladesh, and currently pursuing my Master’s in Electrical Systems Engineering at Paderborn University, Germany. My specialization lies in Electronics and Devices, with a focus on advanced fields like nanoelectronics, silicon photonics, and microwave phase detection.

Alongside my studies, I work as a Research Assistant at the Heinz Nixdorf Institute (HNI), Paderborn University. Here, I work on projects involving the design of optical and microwave phase detection systems and PCB layouts, merging theoretical knowledge with practical innovation.

My academic journey began at East West University, Dhaka, where I completed my Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. During my time there, I also worked as a Graduate and Undergraduate Teaching Assistant, supporting courses in electronics, nanotechnology, and physics, which deepened my passion for education and research.

Beyond my academic and professional endeavors, I am deeply passionate about theatre. I’ve performed in 27 stage dramas in Bangladesh and directed 12 of them. Now, I channel my creative energy into digital content creation through my YouTube and Facebook page, “Rakibul on Point”, where I share my travel experiences and personal stories.

With a dynamic blend of academic expertise, research work, and creative pursuits, I am driven by a dedication to innovation and a desire to make meaningful contributions to my fields of interest.


Sajidul Islam

Sajidul Islam

My name is Sajidul Islam, and I am currently pursuing a degree in Bioengineering at Rhein-Waal University of Applied Sciences in Germany. Originally from Uttara, Dhaka, Bangladesh, I moved to Germany in 2021 to follow my passion for biomedical sciences and build a career in this dynamic field.

Before coming to Germany, I completed my schooling and high school education in Bangladesh and studied physics for a year at the National University to meet the academic requirements for admission here. My journey has been one of determination and curiosity, always seeking opportunities to grow academically and professionally.

I have a strong interest in working in medical laboratories, an area I have hands-on experience in. During my time at IBN SINA D.LAB & Consultation Center in Uttara, Dhaka, I worked as a medical laboratory assistant, which deepened my understanding of laboratory operations and diagnostic processes.

This experience strengthened my passion for the biomedical field and motivated me to specialize further. My focus now is to enhance my expertise in bioengineering, particularly in innovative diagnostic technologies and medical research, contributing to advancements in healthcare.

Beyond academics, I enjoy traveling and exploring different cultures and languages. Fluent in German and English, I am also learning Spanish, as I believe language is a bridge to understanding new perspectives. My goal is to combine my love for learning and science to make a meaningful impact in the biomedical field while embracing diverse cultural experiences along the way.


Sangida Akter Mouli

Sangida Akter Mouli

I am Sangida Akter Mouli, currently pursuing a full-time M.Sc. in Logistics Engineering at the University of Duisburg-Essen while skillfully balancing the responsibilities of a homemaker.

My academic foundation was laid with a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Finance from the prestigious Hajee Mohammad Danesh Science and Technology University (HSTU) in Bangladesh, where I developed a strong expertise in financial analysis and management.

Zubaida Karim Juthy

Zubaida Karim Juthy

I am currently pursuing an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s Program in Astrophysics and Space Science at the University of Bremen. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Physics from Khulna University, where I had the opportunity to collaborate with my colleagues and juniors to create a community of physicists interested in pursuing research as a career.

My passion lies in quantum gravity, aiming to resolve the inconsistencies between quantum mechanics and general relativity, particularly under extreme conditions.

In addition to bridging this theoretical divide, I am particularly interested in exploring the nature of dark energy, the mysterious force driving the accelerated expansion of the universe. By delving into the origins of this enigmatic phenomenon, I hope to contribute to a more comprehensive understanding of the universe’s fundamental structure.

I aspire to be a pioneering researcher in quantum gravity, contributing innovative solutions to modern physics. Additionally, I want to build a scientific community focused on similar research and inspire young stars in Bangladesh to engage more in theoretical fields.
