Competencies acquired during the study period facilitate eminent consulting and industrial design management as well as the possession of a creative impulse on economy and society that goes beyond the scope of the usual job descriptions. Product Design is situated at the highly complex crossroads of strategic business units, technical departments, and economic-ecological management.

Therefore, product designers are deeply involved in processes from product planning and development to production. The aim is to let production meet the practical, aesthetic, emotional, social and ethical requirements and needs of the clientèle through an offer of sophisticated technology and its distribution.
