The ISP aims to assist brilliant, exceptional students from impoverished nations who have no other means of funding their studies to pursue full-time postgraduate study at recognized higher education institutions of their choice.
The Aga Khan Foundation scholarship is open to students from a diverse range of countries, including Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Canada, Egypt, France, India, Kenya, Kyrgyz Republic, Madagascar, Mozambique, Pakistan, Portugal, Syria, Tajikistan, Tanzania, Uganda, and the United States of America.
The foundation’s commitment to promoting educational opportunities knows no boundaries, as it seeks to empower talented individuals from these nations to pursue higher education.
Each year, the Aga Khan Foundation awards a limited number of postgraduate scholarships to outstanding students from developing nations who have no other means of funding their studies. Scholarships are provided on a 50% grant and 50% loan basis once a year through a competitive application process.
