The Bachelor’s program Innovative Textiles targets students who have completed two years of basic studies at a foreign university. The program has an interdisciplinary curriculum drawing on diverse science and engineering principles. The program’s core subjects, which include extensive laboratory exercises, are complemented with appropriate electives to provide a broad base of fundamental engineering courses leading up to two specialization options.
Participation in laboratory work is an integral part of the study program. Students develop a unique background that allows them to pursue undergraduate research, internship experiences, and design projects. All classes are small, and personal attention from faculty is guaranteed. Lectures and laboratory exercises take place in Hof and on the Münchberg campus, a traditional center for textiles for over 150 years.
