Robotics is an innovative and rapidly growing field of technology with disruptive potential for everyday life. Even today, robots can be found in many areas and their importance is steadily growing.
The rise of robots began as part of the third industrial revolution. Over the past decades, they evolved into sophisticated and highly complex systems. As a consequence, the development and implementation of robotic systems require profound knowledge and proficiency in a variety of areas.
The Bachelor’s degree program in Robotics at FHWS is designed to equip future robotic engineers with all necessary competencies they need to create world-changing robots.

Semester One through Semester Four: Basic Studies
Fundamental and advanced courses in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering
Semester Five: Internship
Technical internship in a company
Semesters Six and Seven: Specialisation and Thesis
Specialization in Industrial Robotics, Mobile Robotics, and Humanoids, and Service Robotics as well as the Bachelor’s thesis
Graduates of the program are awarded the Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree.
Secondary education diploma (A level or equivalent)
If required: evidence of periods of study or certificates
Every qualification must be checked individually, depending on the educational background of each student.
TestAS with a minimum of 100 points in each module (Core Test and Subject-Specific Test: Engineering) is required for all non-EU applicants.

- Evidence of knowledge of English, e.g., valid TOEFL internet-based test result of at least 83 points, IELTS 6.0, etc.
- The student must have knowledge of German at the A2 level (CEFR). There is an option to achieve this level by means of FHWS courses during the first two semesters.
